How to Measure
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso), keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm (8 inches) below your waistline.

Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames — proportions are adjusted throughout the garment, not simply hemmed shorter. The exact length for each style is listed on the individual product page.
Yes, our garments are designed specifically for curves and are true to UK sizing. We use proprietary Advanced Fit Technology® to ensure our dresses flatter and support without the need to size up.
What sizes do you stock?
We cater exclusively for curves, stocking UK sizes 12 through to 32.
Do you offer exchanges if the size isn't right?
Yes. If your item doesn't fit perfectly, you can exchange it for a different size free of charge. Simply use the prepaid Royal Mail returns label included in your parcel and tick the Exchange box on your returns form.
Do you offer petite sizing?
Yes. Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames, with proportions adjusted throughout the garment rather than simply hemmed shorter. Not all styles are available in petite — browse the Curvy Petite collection to see the full range.

Wore this dress on my wedding day. As a plus size woman, finding a wedding dress felt incredibly daunting, but I felt so beautiful in this. It fits perfectly and is genuinely comfortable. Nips in at the waist, and is very flattering across hips/tummy area. Formal and elegant whilst still being stretchy material. If you're considering buying this dress, just do it, it's perfect!
Absolutely love this dress, bought it for a military ball and felt amazing in it. It fits really well, I've got S&J dresses from size 30 down as I've been loading weight, and have manged to keep them as I've got them taken in, which the dressmaker says is really easy due to the style.
This dress is beautiful but it did not suit my shape. I felt that having larger breasts the band was right below and then faulted out looking pre maternity with my large apple bottom. Went with a different dress where I felt comfortable which is one of your velvet dresses that gives different shape.
All dresses that have come to try on have been excellent quality

You were answered within minutes, no response from you, you then posted this and another review.
Once I put this dress on, it felt like it fitted like a glove. Now I'm not the tallest of ladies, but the length was perfect that I could still walk in it without heels as they just covered the ankles, so after a night of dancing, it will b good to get home in flats haha! The quality and feel of it was amazing, and when I walked in the room whilst trying it on, the look on my mum's face lit up and said I looked elegant and beautiful in it. This is the dress I'll be wearing for a special party abroad and it's perfect ... thank you S & J.

I had been searching for such a long time to find “the dress” and after many failed attempts, I came across Scarlett and Jo. I read all the reviews, and thought to myself, that they couldn’t really be that good. How wrong was I, when they say it suits the fuller figure, they were right, it has just enough stretch for comfort, and cinches in at the waist, it’s light weight, and just stunning. This will be the first of many! Thank you for designing such a beautiful dress.
I love love love this dress it is so flattering I bought the 18 but it showed to much cleavage so tried the 20 ! Adam in customer services was amazing and I think S&J are fabulous !!thank you
Beautiful, flattering dress. Wasnt sure about the pattern at first but it certainly grew on me! The sleaves are perfect! This was meant to be an either or but loved them both so much kept them both!!!
I got this dress for my graduation ball and it is utterly perfect. I am a plus size girl with an hourglass shape and this dress is stunning. Pulls in my waist making it look tiny, the fabric is beautifully crafted, feels light but the detail is gorgeous. I am usually a 22 with large arms and hips but the 20 was just right. The neckline is great for showing off your bust so flattering even for a 38 dd chest. The length is great for me I’m 5ft 6 and with a kitten heel will have that swoosh I’m looking for on the dance floor. I have tried many dresses, so thank you so much Scarlett and Jo you have made this Cinderella ready for her ball. Would definitely recommend this dress, in fact I can’t wait to buy it in another colour.
Nice dress, but two issues- the first is the neckline is extremely wide cut and hard to stop from slipping off the shoulders. The second is that it is a little bit short from bust to shoulder, which adds to the problem of trying to keep it on the shoulders. I usually buy the Isabelle which is perfect in terms of neckline width and it doesn't have same length restriction between bust and shoulder. The fabric on this has a flock print which is limiting the stretch, so the dress needs about another 1.5cm in height between bust and shoulder. I would like to see the side of the neckline brought in by at least 2cm each side. I have kept the dress, but am going to see if I can sew a pleat into the centre back neck to reduce the neck width.
