Lovely dress but arrived damaged. Mesh on bust area had a small hole where it looks like stitching hasn’t caught properly - didn’t even try it on. Will be returning today. QA should have picked this up!

I’ve got to admit, my entire wardrobe is only from Scarlett and Jo! This dress is a perfect ‘throw-on-look-amazing’ dress. It’s cool enough for these hot days, but smart enough for work and easily for going out to dinner afterwards. I have this design in bright red, black and patterned too, but the deep emerald green is my new favourite! It matches perfectly with the green waterfall shrug but pairs in an elegant way with the S&Jo navy waterfall and navy shoes too…(because I don’t have green shoes!) It washes well and doesn’t need an iron. (Thank goodness for that as I wear it so much!!) Now I need this design in all the other colours too!

Have previously bought the Isabelle dress in another colour and had nothing but positive comments when I wore it so I knew when I was looking for a dress for my sons wedding it had to be an Isabelle. The fit is perfect, it offers the right amount of control but with movement, supporting where it needs to while being loose and flowing in other areas. I love the length as my ankles tend to swell in the heat, I’m 5’6” and they were covered perfectly. Nothing but praise for this dress The Royal blue colour was just what I was after and predictably I had lots of positive comments on it.

This Victoria midi dress is size 20, I love the really bright summery colours. I returned the size 18 in the same dress as it was much too tight on the waist band, and this has been refunded quickly minus the aprox £13 in tax, however this size 20 Victoria dress has come up really big, the waist is very loose on me and keeps falling off my shoulders because it’s too big, also way too long, falls to my ankle, I’m 5ft 4”, I won’t be able to return it because I had to wear it for a Christening 2 days after arrived as had nothing else suitable, Scarlett & Jo kindly sent it by dpd so it arrived on time, I had already purchased the Verity Maxi dress in size 20 which fitted fine apart from being miles too long so have had to get that one taken up, was disappointed with the variation in the same size between the verity & this one it’s 1 1/2” inches bigger on waist, I’ve tried to show this in the photos, (difficult to hold it tight and take the photo).

As can be seen in the photo, there is a large area of dark purple just below the waist which draws the eye to it. The left-hand sleeve is also solid purple do doesn't match the other sleeve.

I am so disappointed with this dress. I previously bought a Scarlett & Jo dress for my daughter's christening, and it was perfect. Naturally, when I needed a dress for my brother's wedding, I chose Scarlett & Jo again. Unfortunately, this dress was nothing like I expected. The print is completely different from the photos. The front panel is almost entirely plain lilac, with only two small corners of the pattern showing beneath the waistband. It looks very out of place and is not at all what I would expect from such an expensive dress. I even ordered a second one, hoping the first was just a one-off. While the pattern placement was slightly better on the second dress, it had an excessive amount of material around the bust, so it didn't fit properly. I'm really disappointed with the quality control and inconsistency between the dresses. Given my previous positive experience with Scarlett & Jo, this has been a very frustrating purchase.

I wore this dress to the Wimbledon men's final during a heatwave and it was perfect! It was elegant, floaty, and breathable, the sleeves didn't chafe which was a problem I had with the S&J flock patterned dresses, and it was easy to put on and take off (no pesky zips or buttons). I don't tend to suit plain dresses but I didn't want a bright floral so the dobby spot polka dots were the perfect compromise. I've now worn 4 S&J dresses to various events and they'll be my 100% go to for future events. I also appreciate the easy returns process and how quick it was to get to speak to a human on the phone, a very nice and helpful human at that!
