How to Measure
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso), keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm (8 inches) below your waistline.

Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames — proportions are adjusted throughout the garment, not simply hemmed shorter. The exact length for each style is listed on the individual product page.
Yes, our garments are designed specifically for curves and are true to UK sizing. We use proprietary Advanced Fit Technology® to ensure our dresses flatter and support without the need to size up.
What sizes do you stock?
We cater exclusively for curves, stocking UK sizes 12 through to 32.
Do you offer exchanges if the size isn't right?
Yes. If your item doesn't fit perfectly, you can exchange it for a different size free of charge. Simply use the prepaid Royal Mail returns label included in your parcel and tick the Exchange box on your returns form.
Do you offer petite sizing?
Yes. Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames, with proportions adjusted throughout the garment rather than simply hemmed shorter. Not all styles are available in petite — browse the Curvy Petite collection to see the full range.

Absolutely lovely dress, incredible quality, really comfortable to wear and the details of this dress are so well thought out, I’ll be wearing this again and again. I only had two negatives, the delivery didn’t allow for instructions and spent an extra day than expected finding my place and despite checking my measurements against the size chart the dress was actually a little too big around the chest and waist on arrival. But really this is me nitpicking, it’s a wonderful garment and I hope that they keep making it so I can keep buying it as my size changes over the years!
The dress fits and hangs very well due to its layers and weight. The lining is stretchy between the bust and hips but also holds you in as it has quite a rigid waistband. The bust is very generous. I am curvy and was in two minds about which size to order but decided to size up and am pleased I did.
The dress is quite formal but not in a stuffy way. I think it is one which can be worn to lots of different occasions and will always look and feel good.

I am a disabled woman with mobility difficulties and use a wheelchair or elbow crutches - very attractive!!! and find it very difficult to negotiate zips and buttons. I bought the size bigger as It was a fitted dress and it fits perfectly! I can put it on and take it off myself. This is very important to me, the family love it and my husband said wow! which is unheard of.. I have also purchased the green velvet floaty dress which also wowed them for my daughters wedding in september. Thankyou.
Beautiful dress, material is lovely and does not crease, only issue maxi was too long for me so have reordered another dress in the midi long length. I am 5.5.
I have bought this dress for a black tie awards ceremony. The quality of the fabric and the cleverness of the design makes it stand out. Can’t wait for the event!

I was searching for a black dress to go to a wedding in Dubai when I came across Scarlett & Joe. I am so pleased with the way it fits and moves that now I can’t wait to wear it. Thank you Scarlett & Joe.
I haven't worn this dress yet but saw it and thought it would be perfect for black tie events. When it arrived along with another dress for a wedding, I tried it on. Unfortunately, the material covering the left side of my chest just didn't sit right. I emailed the company, and they replied asking what I would like to do, I asked for a replacement. The replacement was sent out even before they received my original dress. The replacement is perfect. This was the first time I have had an issue with any of the dresses I have purchased from here. I am very happy with the customer service and products.
I'm glad there was some plain colours , especially black .
Must admit I like long sleeves better so I don't have to wear a jacket .
Good dress for formal events and party's .
Good dress to wear causally with boots, or dress up with heels .
I have this same dress in a green print which I wore to my nephew's wedding. I felt great in it, and received lots of compliments, so decided to plan ahead for the Christmas and New Year inevitable soirees and nights out!
