How to Measure
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso), keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm (8 inches) below your waistline.

Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames — proportions are adjusted throughout the garment, not simply hemmed shorter. The exact length for each style is listed on the individual product page.
Yes, our garments are designed specifically for curves and are true to UK sizing. We use proprietary Advanced Fit Technology® to ensure our dresses flatter and support without the need to size up.
What sizes do you stock?
We cater exclusively for curves, stocking UK sizes 12 through to 32.
Do you offer exchanges if the size isn't right?
Yes. If your item doesn't fit perfectly, you can exchange it for a different size free of charge. Simply use the prepaid Royal Mail returns label included in your parcel and tick the Exchange box on your returns form.

Yes. Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames, with proportions adjusted throughout the garment rather than simply hemmed shorter. This dress is so comfortable and a flattering shape flowing over any lumps & bumps 🤣 The washing instructions are so easy and just hangs to dry .Feel great wearing it and it looks really classy too for a wedding.
Wore this to my son’s wedding at the weekend, got so many complements. Teamed it with a burgundy jacket I already had and a burgundy fascintor from Caprilite, felt so at ease.
Beautiful dress. It feels amazing on, so comfortable. The quality of the fabric is high standard and made very well too. I've purchased it for our Friends wedding in November (indoor venue) so feel this will be the perfect choice for their upcoming wedding.

The dress is beautiful. The photos don’t do justice. I wore it for a friend’s wedding and got a lot of compliments. Definitely give it a try. The fit is beautiful. The skirt area is flowy and absolutely stunning. Trust me. :)
Really nice dress, good quality and great fit. I’m a size 22 and 5’8”…..with substantial boobs! I usually struggle finding dresses to fit them, but this one is great.
Love this dress. I am 5’9”, a size 16 and a 38D bust. I was worried that the top half would be too big for me, so ordered a size 14. It fitted really well and was very comfortable. I received many compliments, it’s a very striking dress. Easy to wash and just hang to dry, doesn’t need ironing, doesn’t crease, well made. I wore it for a party, but will definitely take it on holidays with me.

I wish it was a mid max though and not full length. It is absolutely gorgeous though and really would recommend a purchase. Thankyou Scarlett & Jo.

I thought that the colour was very beautiful but didn't show properly on my own camera. This photo is from someone else's phone, but even this one is not quite right. It was very comfortable to wear, it hung nicely and moved well when I danced.
I would ideally prefer a dress out of more natural fabrics, and if S&J sold the same design in cotton or rayon, I would snap it up.

Hi Penelope Not surprisingly a lot of customers and would be customers say the same about wanting natural fibres in our dresses but here is the thing. The powerfit stretch knitted mesh we use doesn't crease, and the fabric softly flows and drapes. It washes well, is 40% air and is cool to wear as the fabric breathes. Both cotton and rayon tend to retain the heat, cotton creases and viscose or rayon tend to be less stable as a fibre and tend to "grow" on the weight of its yarn. Viscose in a knit mesh with elastane might be more stable. Yes we could try a silk but then we are talking at least £300 -400 dresses. We consider that we are producing a far better product in this shape and design than similarly priced natural yarns would offer from just about every aspect other than public perception of natural fibres vs synthetic.

This dress is so comfortable, I just pulled it on and it was perfect. My friends say it suits me and is very glamorous. I was worried it would be scratchy synthetic but it is soft and stretchy.
I’ve been looking for a dress for my daughter’s wedding. Not being the biggest fan of traditional mob dresses I still wanted something quite elegant. This dress is perfect. The fabric is lovely and the fit and style very flattering.
I will definitely be shopping with Scarlett and Jo again. Thank you!
I love it , the only problem is that is too long need to take the hem up however not sure if I can do it by myself or need a seamstress as the material is too delicate.. overall nice dress , will be using this company again

I had lots of compliments when I wore this dress to my daughter's wedding. I'm glad I bought the wine colour as it complimented my skin tone and eye colour. I am curvy and the fit on me is great, usually a size 18/20, but I bought a size 22 which fit me perfectly in all the right places. The material is lovely too, and the long length was great ( I am 5ft 9"). i would defintely buy another dress from Scarlett and Jo if ever I need one in the future.
I have bought the dress for my daughters wedding. I loved it and she did too. She doesn't get married until next may. I sent for it to see what it was like and bought it there and then. Its beautiful.
I’m 5’ 2”, and this dress was about a couple of inches beyond floor length on me, so I decided to go with one of the other styles I had ordered, rather than getting this one taken up by a seamstress. But still a beautiful dress.
I bought this dress for my daughters upcoming wedding. It looks stunning on. Beautiful colours. It accentuates my figure, and bust area, while covering up the bits I don't like to show. The sleeves are a lovely length too. I would definitely buy another dress from this range in the future.
