How to Measure
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso), keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm (8 inches) below your waistline.

Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames — proportions are adjusted throughout the garment, not simply hemmed shorter. The exact length for each style is listed on the individual product page.
Yes, our garments are designed specifically for curves and are true to UK sizing. We use proprietary Advanced Fit Technology® to ensure our dresses flatter and support without the need to size up.
What sizes do you stock?
We cater exclusively for curves, stocking UK sizes 12 through to 32.
Do you offer exchanges if the size isn't right?
Yes. If your item doesn't fit perfectly, you can exchange it for a different size free of charge. Simply use the prepaid Royal Mail returns label included in your parcel and tick the Exchange box on your returns form.

Yes. Scarlett & Jo has an extensive range of standard fit dresses alongside a recently launched Curvy Petite collection. Petite styles are cut specifically for shorter frames, with proportions adjusted throughout the garment rather than simply hemmed shorter. I bought this dress a few days before my grandson’s wedding. I had already spent over a £100 on a John Lewis lace dress but it just didn’t feel right. When the dress arrived 2 days later, I tried it on and fell in love with it. It was so comfortable, looked fabulous on and I actually thought I looked slimmer in it. The magic band was great, didn’t even feel it but my stomach area looked good. Hubby even said I looked nice, which was a good compliment, I can tell you. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again for a special occasion. You won’t be sorry if you buy one.
My beautiful mum wore this stunning dress as her mother of the bride outfit. She looked incredible and felt not just amazing but also comfortable. She was delighted to accept lots of compliments 💖

An absolutely gorgeous dress! I had so many lovely comments throughout the day of my cousin's wedding, on the hottest day of the year. Despite the double layer, I remained cool and didn't overheat, at all. I loved the shoulder pads that made me look less broad and the bust was perfect (I didn't need a safety pin for once!). I also liked the part under the bust that cinched my waist in giving me a nice figure. I am quite tall and prefer to wear flat shoes but the dress was a little on the shorter side for me. I didn't mind as I had lots of steps to climb and didn't need to lift it. I am very happy with this dress and look forward to wearing it again!
I've bought this dress for a wedding in April and absolutely love this dress! It feels great on and fits really well (I bought a size 32). I wish it could have been a couple of inches longer, I'm 6ft tall, but the floating material helps me get away with it.
I was surprised that it had shoulder pads, I'm not sure if I should take them out or leave them in, as it makes my shoulders broader than they already are... but it balances out my hips and gives me the appearance of a waist!
I wore the usual smoothing body underwear, I couldn't wear it without that, but what's really good is that I don't have to find a plunge bra to go underneath - my usual T-Shirt bra has worked really well and it doesn't show.
I feel really confident in this dress... love it!

Wow, this is gorgeous! My favourite style, love the shoulder pads to give definition, and this fits just perfectly on the shoulders, as well as the bust and waist. This is beautiful material and my favourite combinations of misty purples and pinks against a navy background. I have a purple cashmere cardigan with a pie frill, which looks good with this when it's really cold. I feel great in this dress, even at my age!

I did order 4 dresses to try for my sons wedding later in the year, sadly this dress is not quite the right colour for the theme of the wedding so I have returned it, but the returns process is very quick and easy.
I have kept two of the other dresses that I ordered though.
Scarlett & Jo will definitely be my future go to for dresses.

Sadly had to return the dress as the colour was far darker in real life than in the picture. I thought it would be a navy background but in reality it was almost black, and unsuitable for a summer wedding. However, the fit was good, quality is excellent and it was delivered quickly.
Have returned the dress. Loved the fit and style but the colour was too dark and didn’t reflect the colour in the advertising picture.
The portrayed pic showed a vibrantly coloured dress that in reality was very disappointing and looked nothing like it was shown
Unfortunately I had to return this item as it was far too big for me I usually wear a 16
Also it was too long for me I’m 5”4
It arrived quickly … I did expect it to be in a dress bag but was just in a plastic delivery bag
I returned it immediately using the same packaging and pre paid returns sticker
I am awaiting the refund ( 8 days on ) so hoping that process is efficient too
