Amelia Peacock Feather Print Mesh Maxi Dress

I loved this dress when I saw it online so ordered it, along with a few other S&J angel sleeve dresses, for a forthcoming wedding. This dress fitted perfectly however, after falling in love with the floaty angel sleeves on the others, I felt too self conscious about my arms being on show. I messaged S&J to see if they could let me know where there material was from in the hope I could purchase some to create sleeves on it myself. This is where the best customer service comes in: not only did they send me some of the fabric free of charge but when the first package arrived empty as Royal Mail had damaged the package and lost the contents, they printed and sent me another 2.5m of it - again free of charge! Everybody at the wedding commented on how beautiful the dress was and how the sleeves just seemed to float. Thank you so so much for making me feel a million dollars!!

This dress is what I would call forest or sea green. The colour on the website in no way represents it. The fit is great as I am a 38HH U.K. and the 18 fits well with the bra not showing at the armpit like some dresses. I will probably send it back though because the colour is not for me.

I love this dress, but I think the quality has gone down hill.. Seams weren’t finished properly (and I had to get handy with a pair of sissies) and the fabric feels cheap… I do love this dress, it’s just not worth the £85!

This is such an elegant dress! I love it! Beautiful material, subtle colour and flattering design, with hints of the exotic peacock. So easy to wear and comfortable, I chose this for an evening meal outside at the pub, perfectly matched with a turquoise shrug and camisole, and some natural stone beads. Not as flamboyant as some of the angel sleeve dresses, but a real classic, and suitable for absolutely any occasion, dressed up or down, to give a lecture, meet with friends, trip to the museum or gallery, or cinema and theatre, now that the world is opening up again.

A little snug on bust

Just received this dress and it doesn’t disappoint. I love this style as it suits my body shape and this is the best of all the S&J dresses I’ve had so far. It is a bit darker than the picture, but this doesn’t detract from how good it is. I am 6ft tall, a size18/20 and went for the size 20 for extra comfort. The length just skims the floor in bare feet so will be perfect with flats or a heel. I am always complimented in any of my S&J dresses and have no doubts will be so again in this.
